However, in aromatics or halogen mixtures (especially at high temperatures), UWPE expands easily, so use extreme caution.




Very low water absorption: Ultra-high polymer water absorption is very low, almost no water absorption, will not expand in water, water absorption is lower than nylon.




Thermal characteristics: According to ASTM(46 kg/cm2) test, the temperature of thermal deformation is 85℃, and the working temperature can reach 90℃ when the load is low; Under certain conditions, higher temperatures can be used, because ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene sheet is a good toughness, so its heat resistance is also very good, even at a temperature of -269 ° C, it can still maintain a high elasticity, without cracks.
